Over the past two days carnage ripped through the final four.

Carrie Lee was the first to fall at the hands of Pam.  An honorable knitter, her own good sportsmanship led to her demise.

The socks destined to destroy her were sent to her unfinished, rather than to Pam, by mistake. Carrie Lee and I conferred over the phone and laughing at the insanity of it all, she quickly agreed to send them to Pam so that Pam could knit away on Carrie Lee's death.

Meanwhile in Maine, Danielle experienced a surge of confidence after hand delivering her socks to Pam.

Well, actually, to Pam's mailbox on Sunday afternoon.  Since Pam didn't check for murderous deliveries on Sunday, she remained alive, and Danielle died on Monday, thanks to the swift hands of Caitlin.

That left 2: Caitlin of Missouri and Pam of Maine.  Who would actually receive the instrument of their destruction first?

Unfortunately for our state pride, Pam discovered her death among the pile of mail her children dumped on the table.

Caitlin of Missouri wins The Battle of the Soxes!!!!

Congratulations Caitlin!  Your speed and endurance has impressed us all!  Caitlin even had to start one pair of socks over from scratch, as the original pair started by the original assassin was lost in the mail. Yay Caitlin!

And congratulations everyone who played and who supported the players! Thanks to you we had a great game and fabulous entertainment.

Stay tuned for prize announcements.  I'll be conferring with Amy and Scott on awards. We have a lot of prizes to give out, so this will be fun!
