I had planned to show you this
(My Citrus Yoke Pullover that now has one sleeve.)

And this
(The completed pair of socks for my grandmother.)

And a little spinning (saving that for later).
But something far more exciting happened today. UPS delivered our first shipment of Noro Kureyon Sock yarn. Now, I'm sure the UPS guys are pretty used to people greeting them with much anticipation and glee this time of year, but I may have scared our UPS dude just a wee bit. I was quite literally jumping up and down with the excitement of a whole box of Noro Sock yarn before me.
Thanks to Alec, that early moment was captured on "film."

Are you ready??
Here's what we got - six of the twelve colors. All are now available in the shop or through the online store.

Of course you know I had to cast on for a pair of socks immediately. Rumor is that you can get a pair of knee highs out of one skein. I'm testing it and will let you know.
Becka convinced me that a special yarn deserved a new technique and new needles. Yup. I took the magic loop plunge. And I'm using Addi Lace needles US 1. While double points will probably always be my favorite, the magic look definitely beats 2 circular needles and is quite slick.
