Last night's Knit at Night was just the kinda of relaxing, unwinding, night many of us needed. We had a full house and a lot of fun.

I got a little mesmerized watching Anna's Flying Needles in action:

And that gave me the idea to capture all the needles or hooks working around the room. I wasn't able to get everyone since the inspiration didn't strike until late in the evening, but here are the talented fingers I did catch.

With all that knitting, you know there had to be some great finished projects to share.
Michelle stopped by wearing a gorgeous sweater she had JUST finished out of Debbie Bliss Alpaca/Silk

Diana let me get a picture of the cool Foliage hat she whipped up for her sister in an hour!

Sarah had a fuzzy mitten to share.

And Michelle M. made the most adorable doll from Heidi's book Soft and Simple Knits for Little Ones.

While all that knitting and crocheting was taking place, we plotted out next round of entertainment. By popular demand, we're having another Knit-Along (KAL). This time, we'll be making a spring cardigan - Sprout, by Amy King. Amy has generously offered the pattern as a free download on her website.
We'll be kicking off the Sprout KAL the thursday after Easter - March 27th. As always, anyone can join, there is no cost to participate, no rules, just having fun and making a great sweater. I'll be posting updates, pictures, etc... on the blog and on our Ravlery.com forum group - The Knitting Experience Café Knitters. If you are interested in joining us, let me know! As I pull the plan together a bit more, I'll post a full blog entry about the Sprout KAL, but for now, I wanted to get the word out so everyone can starting thinking about yarn, color, needles.... .
Oh, and exciting things are happening in the Battle of the Soxes game. I have news, and will post tonight if the storm doesn't knock out the power.
