I don't care how old you are, sometimes you just need a hug.
Thanks to Spud and Chloe's clever design, I now have a hug waiting for me whenever I am at the shop:

Is it silly that he makes me ridiculously happy? He makes me giggle just looking at the picture.
Oh, my! You have got to see his adorable little bum.

The tail kills me. KILLS ME. So damn cute.
A number of people have remarked that he has a slight weight issue around the tummy area. I think they are missing the point. It is absolutely no good to squish a skinny bear. None at all. He is so squishy and lovey.
Did you see those paws?? They are PAW SHAPED. Not just round bits at the end of stubby legs. They are paws.

Knitting rocks. I giggled as I knit every part of this little guy and made everyone around me stop and appreciate his evolution. Now he has a little personality - can't you see it in his eyes? He does need a name. Suggestions?
(Oh - details - I made the medium size on the Three Brr Bears pattern by Spud and Chloe. It took 3 skeins of Sweater in Ice Cream, and US 6 needles. The stuffing plain old fiber fill.)
I'm not the only one making awesome pieces of happiness from yarn.
Allison showed me her Olympic knitting and spinning project. She spun, designed, then knit these incredible socks.

Fabulous, aren't they?
Marla stunned me with the gorgeous projects she has finished recently.
A sweater out of Noro Iro:

A Mini Mochi fair isle hat:

And a scarf/hat set out of regular Mochi:

She's not just talented with yarn. Check out what she can do with glass:

These boxes still needed to be polished, but I insisted on a picture so I could share it.
Karen has been designing a bit. She made this lovely, classic hat:

And Sue knit her first sock!!!!!!!

I'm so proud of you Sue! If you know Sue, you know exactly what I mean.
I hope your day includes a knitting smile or two.
