We have exciting news at The Knitting Experience Café. To entertain ourselves through the winter months, we are hosting a Battle of the Soxes!
Have you ever played the game Assassin? Battle of the Soxes takes assassin and puts a knitter’s spin on it. The weapon is socks. For a complete description of the game, see this blog entry .
Any knitter who would like to play is welcome to join the fun. We will have random contests throughout the game to give us an excuse to handout prizes. To play, just email me before midnight on Saturday, January 26 at battle@theknittingexperience.com. Include your name, email, snail mail address, and shoe/sock size. The game begins at 11:59pm on February 1st when the pattern is released.

While you are preparing for battle, don’t forget to check out the winter class schedule. The Magic Loop class is already full so we are planning another session for early spring. A few spots remain in the Time to Finish and Beginner Fair Isle classes. I am very pleased to announce that we just added a beginner lace class on February 9 and 16.
