As we celebrate this day that reminds us to treasure our much loved family and friends, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of 3 of our own.
Early yesterday afternoon, the ghost of Sandy (8purllane) spoke to me from out of the ether. Seems she had been Poisoned, Spunky Eclectic style, by a pair of socks crafted by Luanne (brunswickknitter). The socks, while they look innocent enough, are knit with yarn laced with the deadly dye. Poor Sandy was dead the moment she touched the luscious fiber. Who will be Luanne's next victim? What concoction will she brew this time?
Later that same day, a startling brief message arrived from Wendy (trixie423). She was dead. Lisa (ocmaggie) was seen lurking in the area. Our reporters are on the scene and will be sending information as soon as they can. In the meantime, stay alert. If you see Lisa - don't let her give you socks!!
The evening brought even more horror. Terri (knitparty) was murdered in her own home by Shannon of NJ.
While the death seems to have been agonizing, she is resting in peaceful slumber with warm toes.
17 players are now dead. 6 have contracted the deadly BOTS virus, but remain blissfully unaware of their terminal state. 10 remain healthy.
