You may be wondering what happened to the Fireside KAL. After all, here we are getting all psyched up for a new KAL - the Tappan Zee, and there seems to be a KAL out there, hanging on, unfinished, neglected. Well, these things happen in knitter-land. When you take on a project full of such cabley-awesomeness as the Fireside, sometimes it takes just a wee bit longer to finish than you originally anticipated. And while you are working away on it, new patterns and yarns are springing up, tempting you with their shiny loveliness. We all know that having more than one project going at a time is necessary to ensure that you always have the proper project to fit your knitting mood. Thus, we have collectively decided to move ahead with the Tappan Zee KAL, and have a Finish Along (FAL) in the Fall for the Fireside. (Many thanks to Penny for the horrible pun.)
