This just in from across the border...
Alex has died at the hands of Sara H.
Before Sara had fallen to Michelle M., her socks of doom were making their way to Alex's door.
This is what his tombstone reads:
"What's worse than death by socks? Death by socks when you're hoping it's the knitpicks order you placed last week. :( Brutally and shamelessly murdered by Sara H., February 26th, 2009."

Farewell noble assassin!
The noose tightens on the remaining players. Only 5 remain completely healthy. One is gravely ill. The next few days should be interesting!
While we wait for the next victim, let's go back to the knitting talk. Of course, I should probably mention the little sale we're having this weekend in honor of SPA.
All in-stock yarns will be 20% OFF starting today and lasting through Sunday. The sale is available through our online shop as well as in the store. Even though the Brunswick store is closed on Sunday, you can shop online all day!
Now for some knitting!
Pam just whipped up a LopiLite vest of her own.

Don't you love the colors she put together?
Amy T. did a blue version that is gorgeous! I need to get a picture of that.
Cheryl joined us at KAN looking fabulous in her Shopping Tunic sans cowl. This is the pattern from Twinkle's Big City Knits and using Cascade's Magnum yarn.

Diane was stunning in her Noro Silk Garden vest.

I think we're all on a bit of a vest craze right now. Diane and Barbara just started a mini knit-along of their own, making a vest with Cascade 220. Progress to date:

And Jen looked amazing in her Twist and Shout from knitty.com.

Edie stopped by on her way to a birthday party for her granddaughter. She just finished the Happily Ever After dress.

Isn't is adorable?
In addition to the dress, Edie finished her first pair of socks! Now she's knitting them for everyone in the family. I'm so proud of her!

Karen has been creative with the needles. She took stripes of old flannel sheets and HUGE needles to make this comfy rug.

Even more knitted things will be appearing this weekend at the SPA retreat. I can't wait for the fun - and the shopping. My stash could use a little enhancing and the vendors always have such lovely yarns and fibers.
