I can't believe it is Wednesday already! On the one hand, I can't wait for Saturday and finally have the shop open, on the other hand, it seems like we just have soooo much to do before we'll be ready. One recent bump in the road has changed our plans a bit. We didn't get all our paperwork into the state for our cafe license in time for the inspections and everything to happen by Saturday, so the cafe part of the shop will be delayed a bit in opening. Hopefully, everything will come through soon and we can start offering tea next week.
Ok, I must share a small annoyance of the past few days. At some point a fly got in here and keeps trying to land on my head! I thought they only lived for 24 hours or something, but we're going on day number 3, and he's definitely worn out his welcome.
The Classic Elite Posh scarf is almost done - just another couple of rows and then I can cast off. I think I am going to have to order some of this yarn to make another scarf for myself. You would not believe how soft it is!
Time to get back to setting things up. I still have some Noro and and Debbie Bliss Soho that needs to be entered into the computer and more is scheduled to arrive any day! Oh - for those of you who haven't seen Debbie Bliss's new yarn, Soho, I think you will love it! 100% wool in the most amazing colors and textures. Her patterns, as always, are beautiful. It was actually one of the patterns for Soho that convinced me to buy the yarn. It is a little hooded sweater for a young girl. My next project will be to knit that up as a store model. I can't wait!
